The Perm Administration and its 'Perm.Here' app won the All-Russian Tourism Award.
The 'Perm.Here' app offers a variety of walking routes, insights into the city's history, and audio guides to its main attractions.
The winners of the 12th All-Russian Tourism Award "Route of the Year" 2025 were announced at the Perm House of Folk Art "Gubernia." This year, 455 projects from 59 regions of Russia, as well as from the Republic of Belarus, submitted applications. Following the district rounds, 360 projects were selected for the finals.
Following its presentation before the expert committee, the Perm Administration, represented by the City Center for the Protection of Monuments, won first place for its "Perm.Here" project in the "Best Mobile App for Tourists" category.
The "Perm.Here" media guide includes city maps with routes and attractions and supports audio guide functionality. Each route point includes a description of the location's history, interesting facts, and archival photographs. The app is available in three formats: a web app at lines.perm.ru, which requires no download and allows tourists to use the service directly in their browser; touchscreen terminals throughout the city; and a mobile version for iOS and Android.
The app's creators plan to expand the service's content with information on restaurants, hotels, and souvenir shops, as well as continue installing new connected tourist signs, transforming the city into a unified interactive route and a fascinating journey through space and time.
